Rest

We are a hurried people. We are defined by striving and doing, and that striving leaves us living a surface level spirituality. It leaves us chronically exhausted, perpetually dissatisfied, and sadly unaware of the greater story going on all around us. And that greater story belongs to Jesus, it is a story we are being invited into by the Spirit to join His work, and to have margin in our lives. As we say yes to the rhythms of Jesus we find that we can leave freely and lighting, carrying the burdens of the world with ease and joy. The invitation of Jesus is to come and find true rest, rest for our souls.
