The 6th Brother

God is a relational God, a God of proximity and friendship along with mercy, justice and service. Jesus went and dined with those in need, touched, the leppers, reclined in homes of sinners, and listened to their stories. Jesus didn’t just participate and donate to organizations and church programs that went out and broadly did the work for Him, but rather He offered himself as as part of the work, and invited the outsider to be family. This is the model for ministry he now gives us.
